Spring Driving Checklist
  • Up-to-date oil change
  • Test battery for Cold Cranking Amps and ability to hold a charge
  • Fuel injection cleaning to restore gas mileage
  • Check all fluids or exchange out old power steering fluid, gearboxes, etc. (Consider synthetic oils)
  • Check tire tread depth, alignment, and air pressures including spare tire. Make sure the tire jack is accessible and ready to use
  • Condition of belts, hoses, and wiper blades
  • Check the HVAC system for proper vent operation and fan strength
  • Ensure the engine reaches the proper operating temperature within the expected time
  • Check brakes for proper function and wear
  • Safety kit: flashlight, blanket, a snack, and water
